Terms and conditions

These terms apply to the use of PingImmo. When you create an account, we explicitly ask you to accept them. We keep a record of when you did so and which version you accepted. This is a translation: in case of doubt, the Dutch version prevails.

1. The service

PingImmo collects properties from the public websites of estate agencies, shows them on a map and sends you alerts about new properties in your areas that match your criteria. Every property links to the agency's listing. Contact about a property goes directly through that agency.

Which agencies we follow, and in which region (currently the Leuven region), is shown on the website. That list can change, for example when an agency asks us to stop following it.

2. Account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for your account and your password, and for keeping your email address correct. An account is personal: do not share it with people outside your household. Each account keeps one search, with as many search areas as you like.

3. Plans

• Free: every estate agency we follow, unlimited search areas, buying and renting, all filters, the map and the list. You see new properties 48 hours after we found them, and you get a weekly email.
• Pro (monthly): € 14.99 per month. Everything in Free, plus new properties right away and an email shortly after we find a new property. We check the websites several times a day. Paid monthly in advance, running month to month.
• Pro (3 months): € 34.99 per 3-month period (€ 11.66 per month, 22% cheaper than monthly), with the same content as Pro. Paid in advance per 3 months.
• All prices include VAT.
• Limited-time offer: during the offer, everyone gets Pro for free. If the offer ends, we will let you know by email at least 14 days in advance. Your account then simply continues as Free.
• A plan renews for the same period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time. You keep Pro until the end of the paid period. We do not refund a period that has already started, except as described below.
• As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. If you start using Pro straight away, you explicitly ask us to start the service. If you then withdraw, you only pay for the period used.
• We announce price changes at least 30 days in advance. You can then cancel free of charge.

4. No guarantee of completeness

We do our best to show properties quickly and correctly, but we cannot guarantee that every property of every agency appears, or that prices and availability are always up to date. The information on the agency's website is decisive. PingImmo is not an estate agent and does not give advice on purchases.

5. Liability

PingImmo is not liable for damage caused by incomplete or incorrect information from estate agencies, by a missed or late alert, or by temporary unavailability of the service, except in case of intent or gross negligence. Our liability is in any case limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

6. Proper use

You use PingImmo for your own search for a home. The following is not allowed:

• automatically copying data from the service (for example with scripts or bots);
• reselling, republishing or commercially using alerts or properties without our written permission;
• trying to access someone else's account or data;
• disrupting or overloading the service, or the websites of the estate agencies.

In case of abuse we may suspend or terminate your account. We let you know by email, unless that would help the abuse.

7. Intellectual property

The texts, design, logo and software of PingImmo are protected. You may not copy them without our permission. Photos and descriptions of properties remain the property of the estate agencies or their rights holders. We only show a limited excerpt, with a link to the original listing.

8. Privacy

How we handle your data is explained in our privacy policy.

9. Cancellation and termination

You can delete your account yourself at any time, through the account menu at the top right of the app. We may terminate an account in case of abuse (see section 6) or if we discontinue the service. If we discontinue the service, we let you know by email at least 30 days in advance and refund paid but unused periods.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. In case of a dispute, we first look for a solution together. If that fails, the courts of Leuven have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you always keep the right to bring a dispute before the court of your own place of residence, and you can also contact the Belgian Consumer Ombudsman (www.consumentenombudsdienst.be).

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will let you know by email at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree, you can cancel your account free of charge.
